About the ESC
The purpose of the Preble County Educational Service Center is to ensure that:
- Every student in the District attends a properly supervised school
- Professional leadership and consulting services are provided in order to strengthen local districts in areas they are unable to finance or staff independently
- Contact with the Ohio State Department of Education is maintained
- Compliance of state and federal program standards are met through the coordination of local school districts
The organizational goals established by the Governing Board are as follows:
- To provide efficient and effective administrative functions for the District.
- To provide a comprehensive communication system to share educational information with the people served by the District.
- To provide leadership in design, implementation and evaluation of educational programs for the District.
- To provide administrative, community, staff and student services to support and enhance the educational programs of the District.

No Background Checks: Sept. 4, 2025
The ESC will not be conducting background checks on Sept. 4.
Honor Scholar Awards
The Rotary Honor Scholar banquet was held on April 24, 2025. Sophomores through Seniors who rank in the top 5% of their class were recognized for their academic achievement. Shawn Hoff, Project Life Replication Coordinator was the guest speaker for the event.
Honor Scholar Banquet
This year's Honor Scholar Banquet will be held at Twin Valley South on April 24 at 6:00 pm. Students and guests must register for the event by April 18. Dinners for the students who are being honored are free. Dinners for guests are $12 and must be paid for in advance. Click here to register
